Nuisance Wildlife Control

Although the risk of wildlife transmitted disease is usually low, pest management professionals, animal control officers and wildlife managers have a higher risk than the general public since their work brings them in frequent contact with wild animals, parasites and habitats. The implications of contracting such a disease can range from a minor illness, which may be confused with a cold or flu, to debilitation or death.

A variety of wildlife diseases (Rabies, Leptospirosis) and parasites (Hookworms, fleas) are at least potentially transmittable from animals to humans.
